Founding Physician, Dr. Thomas L. Jeffries
As the founding practitioner in the practice, Dr. Thomas L. Jeffries takes an active interest in every patient's analysis and treatment. Dr. Jeffries' professional career has spanned more than 20 years. From his early 1980's work with the Peace Corps in Zaire, to his community health and emergency room experience, to founding and growing his current private practice, North Raleigh Family Medicine; Dr. Jeffries has a demonstrated track record of caring for people. Dr. Jeffries is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and by the American Board of Holistic Medicine. Additionally, he has special certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Trauma Life Support. He has also been an instructor in Cardiac Life Support.
In March of 2012 we achieved “Patient Centered Medical Home” status. The Patient Centered Medical Home is a team based healthcare delivery model led by a physician that promotes comprehensive and continuous medical care to patients with the goal of obtaining optimal health outcomes.
